On 4th December 2008, a group photograph was taken to commemorate the soft opening of the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum.

On 6th July 2009, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Sibu Municipal Council Meeting Room, Level 24, Wisma Sanyan.

On 9th November 2018, the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum officially launched "The Story Behind Hospital for All Lau King Howe"

On 7th April 2021, the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum Association, Sibu, held the Cheque Handling and Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS). The ceremony marked the collaboration between both organisations to support educational and heritage-related activities.

On 26th January 2022, the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum successfully held the Launching Ceremony of the "Babies of Lau King Howe Hospital". The event commenced with a welcoming speech by the Museum Association's Chairman, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming, who highlighted the significance of preserving the memories and legacy of the former Lau King Howe Hospital. This was followed by an officiating speech by Yang Berhormat Datuk Dr. Annuar Bin Rapaee, who commended the museum's efforts in strengthening community heritage and reconnecting generations of babies born at the hospital. Following the launch, Yang Berhormat Datuk Dr. Annuar Bin Rapaee, together with invited guests and distinguished leaders, participated in a photography session while proudly holding the "Babies of Lau King Howe Hospital" poster and logo, marking the official launch of this meaningful initiative to celebrate and preserve the hospital's rich history.

On 29th November 2022, staff from the Sarawak Museum Department visited the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum for a discussion with the Upgrading Project team from University of Technology Sarawak (UTS). The discussion focused on preservation methods and ideas for developing future storylines and displays in the museum.

On 23rd December 2022, the Association Chairman Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming, Professor Dr. Mohd Raili Suhaili, Matron Margareth Wong from SEGi University, and members of the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum Committee held a discussion session on storyline topics for future display sections in the museum.

On 29th October 2024 The Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum Association successfully received a land title certificate from Land and Survey Department Sibu Division.

On 22nd July 2026, the Premier of Sarawak, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, was warmly welcomed by the Chairman of the Lau King Howe Hospital Memorial Museum, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming, upon his arrival at the museum, despite the rainy weather.

Premier's daughter Puan Dayang Nur Jihan binti Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari and Premier of Sarawak, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr.) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, appeared interested and delighted while viewing the dental apparatus in the Dental Section during their visit to the museum.

Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming presented a painting of the Old Lau King Howe Hospital and the book "A Brief Historical Notes on Lau King Howe Hospital" to the Premier of Sarawak, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg.
